The Surya Namaskar Challenge – 108 was an incredible event organized on 2nd February 2025 with the aim of promoting health, fitness, and mindfulness. With 200 enthusiastic participants, the challenge turned out to be a huge success, bringing together people of all ages and fitness levels.
 
The Vision Behind the Event
 
Our mission was simple – to encourage individuals to adopt a healthier lifestyle through the power of yoga. Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation) is a dynamic sequence of 12 powerful asanas that offer a full-body workout while promoting inner peace and well-being. Performing 108 rounds of Surya Namaskar is a true test of endurance, strength, and mental focus.

 Awards & Recognition: Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals for the top 3 in each category
 
Categories & Participation
 
We divided the participants into three groups based on age, ensuring fair competition and motivation for all:
 
 Group A: Ages 11 to 25
 
 Group B: Ages 26 to 45
 
 Group C: Ages 46 and above
 
Why 108 Surya Namaskar?
 
The number 108 holds spiritual and scientific significance. It is considered sacred in many cultures and is believed to align the body and mind with the universe. Performing 108 Surya Namaskars enhances stamina, flexibility, and concentration while detoxifying the body.
 
The Energy & Enthusiasm of Participants
 
The event witnessed remarkable dedication from participants who pushed their limits with each round. From beginners to seasoned yoga practitioners, everyone displayed extraordinary perseverance. Our expert trainers guided and motivated the participants throughout the session, ensuring they maintained the correct posture and breathing techniques.
 
Achievements & Recognition
 
To honor the efforts of the participants, we awarded medals and certificates to the top three performers in each category. Additionally, all participants received a Participation Certificate as a token of appreciation for their dedication and hard work.

Gold Medalists – Outstanding endurance and precision. Silver Medalists – Great speed and consistency. Bronze Medalists – Commendable effort and dedication.
